These HO heads were not drilled and tapped for the inside bolt hole (left) on the end ports at the factory, so Taylor did it as part of the head's refurbishing. If you have ever tried to install headers on Pontiac heads without drilled and tapped bolt holes on the end ports, you know how important they are for quelling exhaust leaks at the header flange. There was no porting on the exhaust for this application; you can see the end of the port remains as cast at the factory. However, the exhaust port was milled for a renewed exhaust surface.
