Owner Bio: Jerry Klaus
At 47, Jerry says he's been racing for 29 years, and this is his fourth GTO. "When I was a kid, I was always jealous of those guys who could buy a GTO new. When I graduated high school, the '74 model was three years old. I have always said if they ever make a GTO again, I'll get one. They did and I did." This submarine program manager retired from the Navy in 2000 after 22 years of service but now gets his kicks racing and modifying his '04. Currently, Jerry, the president of 757 Goat (the GTO association of Tidewater), says his favorite moments with his GTO include "delivery from the dealer and the first time hitting the N20."
