Pontiac Pavement Pounders Shootout: Norwalk

Owner Bio: Todd Sedlmmier

According to Todd, "The GP started out as a $400 'cheap' home for a 455...so much for that idea. I had an '81 with a '77 T/A 400, four-speed, and 3.73 Posi. I didn't have the heart to cut up a musclecar to build a race car and I always liked the body style of the '81-87 Grand Prix--even though I consider myself a GTO guy." Currently a CAD designer and former machinist by trade, 29-year-old Todd's '86 GP is a stunning example of his skill and passion. A 10-year veteran racer, Todd also makes time for his 8-year-old-daughter, Christina, and his frame-off restored Nightwatch Blue '65 GTO.

Owner Bio: Ken & Connie Feber

Many Pontiacs show up looking fast. Many Pontiacs are fast, but no matter what's under the hood, who is behind the wheel is still very important. Ken Feber, age 42, has 20 years of racing experience The meticulous details of his '74 GTO and his ability to tell you almost everything about it at the drop of a hat are just a couple of ways to gauge his driving experience. Seeing his seemingly effortless launch and control of a nearly half-track, bumper-dragging wheelie is indeed another. Ken is one of three out-of-staters in this bunch and his first car was a '71 455 Grand Ville. He started tinkering with lawn mower engines at the ripe age of 10! Since then he has gained the skills to do all his own engine, body, and paint work.
